CONCRETE SAWING

FLOOR SAWING

Concrete floor sawing, or pavement sawing, is generally for the cutting of concrete and asphalt. The majority of these machines are diesel or petrol engines and used outdoors or in large well ventilated areas. Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has the capacity to cut to 500mm deep using a large diesel powered machine.

For internal work, we have a 3phase electric machine which has a maximum cutting depth of 300mm deep. There are other machines available for greater depths if required.

HAND SAWING

Hand sawing, often referred to as quick cut, are a versatile machine and used for cutting concrete floors or paths that are inaccessible to floor saws. They are also used for the cutting of walls and pipes. Hand saws have a cutting depth of 150mm.

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has hydraulic, petrol and electric driven hand saws to suit any situation.

RING SAWING

A ring saw is a very uniquely designed machine. It has the ability to cut very deep with smaller blades due to its design. Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has petrol, electric and hydraulic driven ring saws.

These machines are used in conjunction with the hand saws and can achieve a maximum cutting depth of 300mm.

DRAGON SAWING

The Dragon Saw is a hand saw like no other, it is a beast. With the sawing depth of 400mm, it takes an experienced operator to use this machine safely.

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd carries the hydraulic version of the machine which can be utilised both externally and internally. This machine is used in conjunction with hand saws and ring saws.

CHAIN SAWING

The concrete cutting chain saw utilises a diamond segmented chain and can be petrol, hydraulic or electric driven. Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd carries the petrol and hydraulic versions of this machine which enables us to complete tasks internally and externally.

The chain saw has a multitude of applications. These include, but are not limited to, creating square corners in penetrations and cutting pipes. We can achieve a maximum cutting depth of 600mm

TRACK MOUNTED WALL SAWING

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd.’s track mounted wall saw is a 3 phase electric hydraulic driven machine. This machine is mounted on tracks which are attached to the concrete structure, for deep and precise cutting.

This machine can operate vertically, horizontally and inverted. It also has the capability to flush cut.

This machine minimises risk, decreases operator fatigue and with a cutting depth of 700mm from one side, is almost unstoppable.

WIRE SAWING

Wire saws are used for cutting concrete structures of almost any thickness. Commonly used for the demolition or remodelling of bridge decks, dam walls or even under water structures.

These machines spin a diamond bead wire through a series of pulleys which are generally driven by electric or hydraulic motors.

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd.’s wire saw is a 3 phase electrically driven hydraulic version. This enables us to complete this work in almost any environment.

SOFF-CUT JOINTS

Soff-Cut joints, or ultra-early entry sawing as it is sometimes called, are the method of saw cutting control joints at the earliest time possible to minimise random cracking in a newly poured concrete slab.

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has Soff-Cut machinery with the capability of cutting to a maximum depth of 75mm.

FLUSH CUT SAW

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has a hydraulic driven flush cut saw which has a maximum cutting depth of 200mm. This saw can be trolley mounted for flush cutting at ground level or used as a hand saw out of the trolley, which then can be used to flush cut a wall.

Being a hydraulically driven machine, it can be used internally, externally and in almost any environment.

DRILLING

CORE DRILLING

Core drilling is the most commonly used method of penetrating concrete. It creates a very accurate round hole. This method is often used for cables or plumbing though existing concrete structures.

Core drills are generally electric or hydraulically driven which allows them to be used externally and internally. Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has both electric and hydraulic coring machines suitable for almost any size core drill. Our largest core drill in stock is currently 1100mm in diameter.

GRINDING AND POLISHING

FLOOR TOPPING

Floor topping is basically adding another layer on top of your existing floor. We often come across an old concrete floor that requires a topping to be applied to allow a flooring product such as vinyl to be applied. In this instance we often use a high strength self-levelling product to add strength and abrasive resistance.

At Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd, we also have the ability to apply and polishing a true concrete topping/overlay to your existing floor. There are multiple colours and stone variations available to choose from.

FLOOR PREPARATION (GRINDING & POLISHING)

Concrete grinding is utilised for multiple purposes. It could be for simply removing a high spot or trip hazard, removal of existing floor coatings or producing a high gloss glass finish. We even polish terrazzo floors. At Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd, we have a large range of concrete grinders to suit most applications, in both single phase to larger 3phase machines.

Concrete grinding can be a cost-effective method of making old dreary concrete much more aesthetically appealing. You have multiple choices of the finished product and we can usually find a finish that is suitable to your budget.

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd is fully compliant with the latest silica dust regulations which minimises risk to everyone on your site and our operators.

GROUND PENETRATING RADAR

GROUND PENETRATING RADAR (GPR)

Aristocut (Townsville) Pty Ltd has extensive expertise with the use of GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar). This is a method used for non-destructive location of utilities, rebar, post-tension cables, conduits and voids within your concrete structure. We use some of the most advance GPR equipment currently available and have a range of equipment to suit most situations.

We can carry out on site reinforcing mapping in preparation for core drilling or sawing or we can complete post processing of the data collected on site and provide reports for engineering purposes. The GPR has the ability to produce 2D and 3D images of the scanned area.
